The Financial Copywriter must possess the skill set for and have the constant drive to deliver copy that is better than the rest of the industry. You will be responsible for concepting, writing, editing and proofing marketing materials. Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, while working closely with the marketing leadership, designers, project managers and legal teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Works with marketing and sales leaders to develop or improve financial advisor- and consumer-facing marketing collateral.
Proactively solicits feedback on draft materials and incorporates that feedback with their own sense of what will be most effective.
Expert in explaining key benefits, features and selling points of investments through your copy
Must have financial product writing experience in Mutual Funds, REITs, ETFs, SMAs or similar.
Superior copywriting skills; mastery of tone, positioning, language, and strategic development of marketing collateral.
Understanding of financial professional and consumer target audiences, appropriate tone, voice and effective messaging.
Strong research mindset and familiarity with market research, data analysis and how to effectively incorporate into projects.
Must work well independently and be team oriented, with positive energy and enthusiasm.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficient working with Excel, Acrobat, MSWord, Outlook, PowerPoint.
BA/BS degree or equivalent required
