Programmatic Advertising and Paid Search Marketing Manager (60-100K)

Annexus is looking for a Programmatic Advertising and Paid Search Marketing Manager to help build and oversee the strategy and execution of programmatic, direct-sold and paid search campaigns. You'll bring expertise in managing large direct response digital campaigns to hit profitability and engagement targets. A successful candidate should be a direct response marketing expert in programmatic advertising, highly analytical, and committed to making data-driven decisions. This position reports to the SVP of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop strategy, manage, and optimize programmatic and direct-sold opportunities for multiple brands across display, native, search, and video while meeting or surpassing KPIs
  • Collaborate with sales, product and internal marketing teams to develop full funnel media plans; manage the delivery of creative assets, insertion orders, and all relevant campaign documentation in preparation for campaign launch
  • Thorough understanding of digital creative strategy development and will work closely with creative team on content requirements, and best practices, for your areas of ownership
  • Guide our companies' programmatic approach and testing roadmap with your expert-level ad tech knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, 1st/3rd party data segmentation, etc
  • Create, manage and analyze paid search (CPA, CPC, and CPM) campaigns across search engines, networks, websites and social media platforms
  • Own analysis of campaign performance and testing schedules; report results regularly to management using direct response marketing KPIs
  • Source ad tech providers and new marketing platforms
  • Work with media partners to ensure accurate platform implementation
  • Conduct A/B tests and execute optimization strategies to improve performance
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices with a focus on material performance improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years managing Display, Video, and/or Mobile Programmatic Media Buying
  • Experience with programmatic buying experience should include technologies such as The Trade Desk, and DV360
  • Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: Double Click, DART, Double Click Bid Manager, AdWords or Facebook Power Editor. etc
  • Client facing experience with the ability to identify risks and effectively manage through issues
  • Understanding of interactive media planning elements with traditional media understanding a plus
  • Previous team leadership experience a plus
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proven strategic project management skills
