As a Creative Director Copy at Annexus, you'll help build and continually evolve our brand while overseeing the creation of concepts and copy for marketing programs across all channels. You'll be a writing leader, generating BIG IDEAS AND EXPERIENCES while inspiring our writers to do the same. You'll listen to what our senior executives have to say and make them sound as great as they’re ideas. You will translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies. You'll collaborate with our Creative Director Design and Interactive, category and product marketing experts, strategy, data, and our diverse creative team, with broad responsibility for the tone and character of Annexus brand and marketing communications.

  • Create the VISION for campaigns, collaborating with our teams to bring them to life.
  • Collaborate, oversee the process, and provide guidance to those who you work with by providing consistent feedback, training, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead and do; even at the highest levels of this company, we are makers.
  • Putting our clients first, you will help guide our work into innovative and fresh creative territory making it compelling, and relevant to our audiences.
  • Work with marketing leaders to improve our customers’ experience and develop business- and consumer-facing marketing materials, including collateral, websites, email campaigns, display and social advertising, videos, whitepapers, dimensional mailings, environments, and more.
  • Ensure that creative integrity is maintained throughout the development process.
  • Recruit and manage freelance talent to augment in-house teams, when and as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • A personal passion to produce high quality and highly effective marketing communications.
  • An innate curiosity for our business, and our products
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years as a Creative or Associate Creative Director Copy with an agency or marketing firm.
  • Strong copywriting background, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your innovative campaign work across industries and multiple channels, including long-form and short-form content
  • Skill at building strong relationships and trust with creative partners
  • Strong collaboration skills and a track record of being an open and willing resource to team members in assessing ideas and directions.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicting priorities.
  • B2B and B2C marketing experience highly preferred.
  • Financial experience a major plus.
