Who is Ron Shurts? Ron Shurts is the CEO and Co-Founder of Annexus, the nation’s leading independent retirement planning product design and distribution company. Under his leadership, Annexus spurred the growth of the fixed-indexed annuity market through innovative product design and by aligning the interests of carriers, distributors, financial professionals and their clients. Ron is a widely recognized industry visionary, innovator and leader.

In addition to his endeavors with Annexus, Ron co-founded the RIA, Ashton Thomas, and a third-party asset manager, Amplify, with a combined AUM of over $20 Billion. He is also a co-founder of Annexus Retirement Solutions, a product developer of efficient and client-friendly guaranteed income solutions within 401k and other defined contribution retirement plans.

In 2022, Annexus agreed to merge with Integrity Marketing Group, a leading health and life insurance distributor and wealth management and retirement planning solutions provider. As part of the transaction, Ron remained CEO of Annexus and became a Managing Partner of Integrity.

Ron is deeply committed to the Phoenix, Arizona, community. He is actively involved with the Phoenix Suns Charities, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Patrick Peterson Foundation for Success and the Arians Family Foundation. He is also the majority owner and CEO of the Arizona Rattlers.

Ron and his wife, Mia, enjoy spending time with their two sons, AJ and Jaxon.
